Refund Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
1. Refund Eligibility
1.1. API Service Outage: If a prolonged service outage or unavailability significantly affects your ability to use the Services, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund of the affected subscription period. Eligibility and refund amounts are determined on a case-by-case basis.
1.2. Technical Service Defects: If a verified technical issue prevents the Services from functioning substantially as described and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time, you may be eligible for a refund.
1.3. Duplicate Charges: If you are accidentally charged more than once for the same purchase or subscription, please contact our support team. Verified duplicate payments will be refunded.
1.4. Payment Processor Requirements: TorqueNode uses Paddle as its authorized Merchant of Record. Refund eligibility, processing, and consumer rights may also be governed by Paddle's policies and applicable consumer protection laws.
2. Non-Refundable Items
The following situations are generally not eligible for refunds:
2.1. API Usage: Refunds will not be granted based on API usage volume, unused requests, or underutilization of purchased credits or subscriptions.
2.2. Change of Requirements: Refunds will not be issued if your business, application, or project requirements change after purchase.
2.3. Third-Party Data Coverage: TorqueNode aggregates data from multiple third-party sources. Variations in data availability, coverage, completeness, or timing are not, by themselves, grounds for a refund.
2.4. Customer Integration Issues: Refunds will not be issued for implementation errors, incorrect API usage, or issues caused by customer systems or third-party software.
3. Refund Process
Standard Refund Window: Refund requests should generally be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase date. Depending on your country or region, you may have additional statutory rights or different refund periods under applicable consumer protection laws. As our authorized Merchant of Record, Paddle processes payments and refunds in accordance with their policies and applicable legal requirements.
3.1. Submit a Refund Request: Contact our support team at [email protected] with your account details, order information, a description of the issue, and any supporting documentation where applicable.
3.2. Review and Processing: We will review each request individually. If the request is eligible under this Policy, Paddle's policies, and applicable law, the refund will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
4. Termination of Access
If a refund is approved, TorqueNode reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the affected Services, subscription, credits, or API keys associated with the refunded purchase.
